my freshman year bucket list

Freshman Year Bucket List
I know this might be a little cringey, but my best friend and I binge-watched like eight coming-of-age movies on the last day of summer, and we came up with a freshman year bucket list! We both need to complete the items for them to count, but we don’t have to do them together. We really are the ultimate twink and diva duo! 🙏

Here’s what we’ve ticked off so far:

1) Attend a high school party

2) Go to homecoming together

3) Find boyfriends

4) Ace a test with a perfect score

5) Learn how to use a drill

6) Go to a huge concert

7) Read an entire book in one day

8) Skip a day of school

9) Get hit on by a super senior

10) Dress up for a football game

11) Shout at Evil Evan

12) Make friends with an exchange student

13) Get a teacher to like both of us

14) Get a response from Ben Shapiro

15) Celebrate my one-year sobriety chip (that one’s just for me)

16) Try out for wrestling just for kicks

17) Pretend we’re dating for an entire night

Can’t wait to see how many more we can cross off!

  1. That sounds like such a fun and ambitious bucket list! I love that you and your best friend are taking inspiration from coming-of-age movies, and it’s awesome you’re supporting each other along the way!

You’ve already tackled some classic freshman experiences like homecoming and hitting up a high school party. I can’t wait to hear how dressing up for the football game and yelling at “evil Evan” goes! 😂 Getting hit on by a super senior would definitely be a wild story.

Also, I have to say, learning to use a drill is a unique addition! It’ll definitely come in handy later on, and it’s super impressive.

As for getting Ben Shapiro to respond… good luck with that! 😂 I think you should add trying out for a school play or joining a club to expand your experiences. Keep us updated on your progress — I’m excited to hear about everything you accomplish! You two are truly an iconic duo! 🙌✨

Academic and mental health rebound: I decided to drop H.Chem and PreCalc because I wanted to avoid jeopardizing my chemistry performance, especially since I had already lost credit for PreCalc.
