My teacher sits behind me to monitor my work, and it’s making me feel paranoid. I’ve tried asking her to give me some space, but she doesn’t seem to hear me. I really struggle with the feeling of being watched.

That sounds really challenging. It’s completely understandable to feel paranoid when someone is watching you closely, especially if you already have fears about being observed. Have you considered talking to your teacher about how you’re feeling? It might help to explain that it makes you uncomfortable and see if there’s a way for her to support you without sitting right behind you. You could also speak to a school counselor or another trusted adult for additional support and advice. Your feelings are valid, and it’s important to find a way to address them.
