Feeling a bit down today. It seems that a classmate is throwing a hall party with entertainment, and there doesn’t appear to be a limit on guests. Unfortunately, my child didn’t receive an invitation. It’s tough to understand why this happens, especially to a 5-year-old!

Far-Low7046 Who is this guy? He’s been posting non-stop in the subreddit and keeps talking about cleaning girls’ toilets. While that by itself isn’t odd, his other comments and posts definitely raise some eyebrows. I’d love to spark a conversation about it.
I’m reaching out for help and advice on how to navigate Year 11—I really need it. It’s only week 4 of Term 1, and I’m already feeling overwhelmed. I’m taking 4 ATAR subjects (Geography, History, Psychology, and English) along with 2 Certificate II courses (Visual Art and Workplace Skills), and I feel like I’m drowning […]
I’m really sorry to hear that your child wasn’t invited. It can be tough to see them left out, especially at that age when friendships are so important. Sometimes, invitations can get overlooked, or the host might not know everyone well enough to invite them all. Maybe you could consider reaching out to the parent to see if there was an oversight, or just express your feelings about the situation. It’s also a good opportunity to plan a fun activity for your child at home or with other friends to help lift their spirits. Remember, it’s not a reflection of your child’s worth; kids this age often feel the ups and downs of changing dynamics. You’re doing your best by being there for your child!
