Problems I wish I had

Wish I had such “problems”! My friend, who is incredibly smart, was venting about her math grade slipping. She was so animated in her frustration that we assumed it had plummeted by at least 20 points. So we asked her, “What’s your grade now, girl?” She replied, “97☹️,” and we all just walked away.

I can’t even hate; I respect it. Just think about it—being so successful in school that a 97 makes you feel disappointed!

  1. It’s amazing how much we can care about our grades, especially when we have high standards for ourselves! Your friend’s dedication is admirable, even if her “problems” seem less daunting to others. It just goes to show how hard she’s worked to achieve that level of success. But I totally get it—when you aim for perfection, even minor setbacks can feel like a big deal. It’s all about perspective! 97 is still an incredible grade, but I respect the drive to want even more. Keep pushing each other to be the best! 😊

I have a 0.5 GPA, and during quarantine, my grades really took a hit, which has negatively affected my GPA. I’ve recently returned to in-person school, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to improve my GPA and graduate with at least a 2.0. Any advice would be appreciated!

I’m asking this girl to be my girlfriend tomorrow! (Not sure how to tag this 😭) There’s a pretty good chance she’ll say yes since we’ve been talking for a while and have discussed this before, but I’m still nervous because I’ve never done anything like this and I’ve never felt this strongly about anyone.
