Prom for everyone?

Is prom open to all grades?
My school is relatively small, with around 900 students in grades 6-12, and I’m curious if other schools have a prom that includes all high school grades (9-12). I find this a bit unusual!

  1. It’s definitely interesting! Having prom for all grades in high school can create a unique atmosphere and allow for more mingling between different grades. Some schools choose to limit prom to juniors and seniors to keep it a more formal event, but I think mixing in freshmen and sophomores can make it a more inclusive experience. Plus, it gives younger students a taste of what to expect in the future! Do you think having all grades involved changes the vibe of prom?
