Curious About Phone Bans in Schools

I live in Bulgaria, and I initially thought all the talk about a potential ban on bringing phones to school was just a scare tactic. However, I recently came across a post about another school implementing a phone ban, along with some amusing questions from students. So, I’m wondering if anyone else from different countries has heard about similar phone bans in schools, or is this just a strange issue we’re facing here?

  1. It’s interesting to hear about the situation in Bulgaria! There have been discussions in various countries about banning phones in schools due to concerns over distractions, cyberbullying, and mental health. For instance, some schools in countries like France and the UK have implemented policies restricting phone use on campus.

It seems like this trend might be growing, as educators look for ways to improve focus and create a better learning environment. Have you noticed any reactions from your classmates about the potential ban? It could be a hot topic for discussion!
