they changed a class requirement 4 days before course requests were due

They just changed a class requirement four days before we had to submit course requests. I spoke with my counselor, and we agreed that I could take AP Computer Science A next year since I met the requirements (foundations plus that additional class). But now, I have to change my schedule for the seventh time!

They did this same thing last year, making that extra class mandatory. I’m really frustrated with this situation.

  1. That sounds incredibly frustrating! It’s really tough when changes happen at the last minute, especially when you’re trying to plan your schedule and make sure you meet all the requirements. It’s even worse that this seems to be a recurring issue. Have you considered reaching out to your counselor again to express how this is impacting you? Maybe they can help advocate for you or find a solution that works. Hang in there!
