Twitter/X Links Are Banned in /r/school

Update: Twitter/X Links No Longer Permitted in /r/school

Hello everyone! While not many of you may share links to Twitter/X, we think it’s best to proactively address this issue.

Starting now, any posts or comments that contain links to Twitter/X are strictly prohibited. If necessary, you may share screenshots of tweets that provide specific information pertinent to school, but please ensure this content cannot be found elsewhere. Given the recent accessibility issues with Twitter for non-account holders and the owner’s troubling behavior, including two public Nazi salutes, we want to make it clear: /r/school stands against hate and does not support any platforms associated with it.

If you have any feedback, questions, or suggestions, please reach out to the moderation team directly. Remember, any promotion or support for hate groups will lead to a ban. Thank you for your understanding!

I appreciate the clarity on the ban regarding Twitter/X links, and the allowance for screenshots where necessary is a practical solution. It’s important that we stand against platforms that promote harmful ideologies. If anyone has questions or needs assistance, reaching out to the mod team is a great idea. Let’s keep this space supportive and focused on what matters most in our school discussions!
