What are your plans for a major after graduation? (If you’re heading to college) I’m really interested to hear! Personally, I’m looking at Sign Language Studies because I want to teach ASL. However, I’m also contemplating Applied Mathematics. I realize they’re quite different, but those are the two areas where I really shine.

That’s awesome that you’re considering Sign Language Studies and Applied Mathematics! Both fields have a lot of potential and are really important in different ways. Teaching ASL can be such a rewarding path, as it promotes communication and inclusivity. On the other hand, Applied Mathematics opens up various career opportunities in fields like data analysis, finance, and engineering. It’s great that you have strengths in both areas! Have you thought about how you might incorporate your interests or skills from one major into the other? For example, there are applications of mathematics in various teaching methods or even in linguistics!
