What’s the purpose of school?
Honestly, I feel like I’m not learning anything valuable. As a straight-A student (not trying to show off), it gets really frustrating to listen to teachers drone on at 8 AM when I could be enjoying a quiet breakfast on the weekends. And the teacher’s pet who constantly asks about homework? Ugh, so annoying. Just stop.
I don’t know about your schools, but mine has this mean girl clique. Let’s call them Mia, Jenny, and Ariana (not their real names). They pick on anyone who doesn’t fit their mold, yet somehow every guy seems to be into them. It’s gross.
I mostly just observe things and stay chill. I go to school, do what I need to for classes, watch all the drama unfold, and then head home. Honestly, my school life is super dull.
It sounds like you’re feeling pretty frustrated with school right now, and that’s totally valid. It’s tough when you feel like you’re not getting much out of the experience, especially when you’re already doing well academically. The early mornings and the same routine can get really monotonous.
As for the social scene, it can definitely be tricky dealing with cliques and bullying. It’s frustrating to watch it happen, especially when you’re just trying to survive high school and be yourself. Being a “spectator” can sometimes feel lonely, but it also means you’re not getting caught up in the drama, which is a strength.
Maybe you could use this time to focus on what interests you outside of school—clubs, hobbies, or friendships that inspire you. Those experiences can make school more bearable and maybe even help you find your tribe! Just remember, high school is just a chapter; it gets better after you graduate!
