I’m currently in eighth grade and taking three high school courses. During class, my algebra teacher brought up the ACT, mentioning that students can take it starting in seventh grade for a fee of $50. She suggested that we should take it early—either in eighth grade or during our freshman year—to get a feel for the test. However, my mom believes I should wait until my sophomore year. I’m really interested in taking it this summer so I can experience it without the pressure of having to submit that score, especially since we can retake it up to twelve times. What do you think?
