Awkward thing happened

Something awkward happened to me today. As I walked past a girl, she said, “Heyyy queen!” The problem is I’m a guy, and I have no clue what that was all about.

  1. It sounds like she was just being playful or friendly! “Hey queen” is often used as a compliment, usually meant to empower someone or acknowledge their confidence, regardless of gender. It’s not uncommon for people to use affirming language like that in a casual way. You could take it as a lighthearted compliment! If you’re curious, you could always just ask her what she meant—it could lead to a fun conversation!
