Do I just give up on AP English atp?

Should I just give up on AP English? This year has been incredibly tough, and honestly, the past two years have been rough too. It feels like everything is falling apart, and I really want to keep my English credit, but I’m worried it’s going to drag down my other classes as well. Should I just let it go and focus on my other subjects? I’m so frustrated with myself—I had a 3.6 GPA in freshman year, and now I feel like I’ve ruined all of that. I can’t believe I might throw it all away.

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It sounds like you’re going through a tough time, and it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed. AP English can be challenging, but it’s important to remember that your mental well-being should come first.

Before making a decision, consider taking a step back and assessing your situation. Is there a way to get support, like tutoring, joining a study group, or talking to your teacher? Sometimes, reaching out for help can make a big difference.

Also, think about what you truly want to achieve. If you feel that dropping the class is the best choice for your overall well-being and success in other subjects, that’s okay. Remember, your GPA doesn’t define your intelligence or potential. You’ve already accomplished a lot in your freshman year, and you have the ability to bounce back.

Take a breath and give yourself some grace. Focus on what you can control, and don’t hesitate to seek support from friends, family, or a counselor. You’re not alone in this, and things can improve.
