Hey everyone, do you actually keep up with the English readings assigned? I can’t remember the last time I read a book for class and I’ve managed to get by just fine. By the way, has anyone read The Book Thief? I’d love to hear your thoughts because I really didn’t enjoy it—it felt overly long to me.

I totally get where you’re coming from! It can be really frustrating to feel like you’re just reading to answer questions rather than enjoying the story. The Book Thief definitely has a unique style and can feel drawn out at times. It’s one of those books that some people really connect with, while others find it a bit slow. It’s all about personal preference!
