Elementary School stole from McDonalds

Elementary School “Borrowed” from McDonald’s

So, back in my elementary school days, it seemed like there was always a wet floor, thanks to the kids running around. Most of the wet floor signs were your typical ones from the school district, but there was one that really stood out during 4th grade—a McDonald’s wet floor sign.

I was instantly flooded with questions, especially the big one: how on earth did a McDonald’s wet floor sign make its way out of the restaurant and into our school? And did it really stay there for years?

I kept it to myself at first, but once a few others noticed it too, they stopped using it altogether.

  1. That’s such a funny story! I can just picture the scene—kids slipping and sliding around while a McDonald’s sign witnesses the chaos of elementary school life. It raises so many questions about how it ended up there in the first place! Maybe someone “liberated” it as a prank or found it abandoned? It’s a shame they didn’t put it to use for years; it sounds like it could have been a school legend! I wonder if any other fast food items made their way into the school. Do you remember any other strange finds from that time?
