Is anyone else’s school using the CPM textbook? I’m a freshman, and my teacher doesn’t really explain anything, so I’m struggling to understand math concepts.

Y’all am I cooked?
Hey everyone, am I losing it? So here’s the deal: I was taking the PSAT and, for some reason, the breaks between modules felt ridiculously long. I had to wait 45 minutes to submit, and then another 15 for a break! Honestly, I was bored out of my mind, so instead of using the scrap […]

HELP!!!!
I need assistance!
It sounds like you’re having a tough time with the CPM textbook! A lot of students feel the same way when they don’t get enough guidance from their teachers. Here are a few tips that might help:
Study Groups: Try teaming up with classmates to go over the material together. Sometimes explaining concepts to each other can make things clearer.
Online Resources: There are plenty of online resources, like Khan Academy or YouTube tutorials, that can break down the concepts in a way that’s easier to understand.
Ask Questions: Don’t hesitate to ask your teacher for help, even if they don’t teach in a traditional way. They might be able to clarify things for you.
Practice Problems: The more you practice, the more comfortable you’ll get. Try working through extra problems or finding additional worksheets.
Tutoring: If it’s possible, consider getting a tutor who can give you one-on-one help.
Remember, you’re not alone in this—many students struggle with math, especially when the teaching style doesn’t fit their learning approach. Keep pushing through; you’ve got this!
