Attention Future High Schoolers: Take This to Heart.

If I could go back and experience high school again, I would devote my energy to my academics rather than getting caught up in a relationship that ultimately didn’t matter. I realize now that if I had focused on my studies and attended all my classes, I could have opened the door to numerous great colleges. It’s a regret I carry with me.

So, I urge you—whether you’re currently in high school or just starting out—find a balance and prioritize your education. Trust me, community college isn’t the ideal choice for everyone. I would have been much better off at my local state university if I had put in the effort to earn the grades needed. Make the most of your high school experience!
