graduation

Graduation Update:

To keep it brief, I missed quite a bit of my sophomore year and struggled with my freshman year as well. Now, I’m attending a continuation school and currently have around 44.5 credits, but I need 150 to graduate. Do I still have a chance?

  1. It sounds like you’re in a tough spot, but don’t lose hope! Many students have faced similar challenges and have been able to turn things around. Here are a few steps you could consider:

    1. Talk to Your Counselor: They can help you understand your options and create a plan to catch up on credits. They might suggest summer school, online classes, or credit recovery programs.

    2. Set Goals: Break down the remaining credits into smaller, manageable goals. Focus on what you can accomplish in the short term to keep yourself motivated.

    3. Stay Engaged: Attend all your classes and participate as much as possible. This can help you build relationships with teachers who might support you in your journey.

    4. Explore Resources: Many schools offer tutoring, mentoring, and other resources that can help you succeed academically. Don’t hesitate to reach out for help when you need it.

    5. Stay Positive: Remember that many successful people have faced setbacks in their education. Stay focused on your goal, and don’t be afraid to ask for support along the way.

You’ve got this! Every step you take brings you closer to graduation.
