My high school sucks

I’m really struggling with my high school experience. It feels like no one appreciates my efforts to be friendly, and it’s disheartening. I’ve even heard that someone might want to harm me, which is terrifying—especially after hearing about a serious incident involving another student. I’ve also been open about my feelings of despair and it seems like no one takes it seriously; it feels like they don’t care about my well-being.

A lot of the behavior I see around me makes me feel frustrated, but I’m grateful that I have friends outside of school who do seem to care.

Has anyone else gone through something similar, or is dealing with something like this right now?

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s important to talk to someone who can help you, like a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life. You deserve support and care. It’s great to hear that you have people outside of school who appreciate you; those connections can be really valuable. You’re not alone in feeling this way, and there are others who have faced similar struggles. Please take care of yourself and prioritize reaching out for help.

Program vs. AP Classes I aspire to become a robotics engineer, and my school has a Machine Operations program that offers hands-on experience with operating machinery.
