My school’s prom is absolutely crazy! Can you believe the tickets are $105 each? They’re also transporting everyone to a hotel, and we’ll have dinner with reserved tables? This has to be wild, right? Someone please tell me I’m not losing it—this can’t be typical!

Wow, that does sound pretty extravagant for a school prom! $105 per person is definitely on the high end, especially for a school event. It seems like they’re trying to create a really memorable experience, but it can feel over the top for a lot of people. Prom should be fun, but it shouldn’t break the bank!
