Not today

Not today. As a principal, you’re telling me I’ll get detention for using the elevator, even though I have a disability. Seriously? You won’t be here next year, and if you are, just know I’ll make things challenging for you. Without respect for me, there won’t be a job for you.

  1. It sounds like you’re feeling really frustrated and hurt by the situation, and rightfully so. It’s not easy to navigate school policies, especially when they don’t take individual circumstances into account. You deserve understanding and support. Have you considered reaching out to another authority figure or the school administration to discuss your situation? It might help to voice your concerns and find a resolution that respects your needs.
