should i just drop out already?

Should I just give up? I’ve been working on flipping burgers, and the fries are already in the bag. Even community college won’t accept me at this point. I doubt McDonald’s would consider me either. Harvard even called—just to laugh at me. It feels like the only job I’m qualified for now is professional failure.

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It sounds like you’re going through a tough time, and it’s completely understandable to feel stuck or discouraged. Remember, everyone has their struggles, and it’s okay to ask for help or talk to someone about how you’re feeling.

Dropping out might feel like an easy way out right now, but it could also close off options for the future. Maybe take a moment to think about what you truly want. There are paths to success that don’t involve traditional routes, and many people find their way through unconventional means.

Consider reaching out to a mentor, a counselor, or even someone in your personal life who can offer support and perspective. You’re not alone in this, and there are people who can help you find a way forward. Keep pushing through; you never know what opportunities might be around the corner!

Yet, I can’t shake the thoughts about him. He was drinking one night, on FaceTime with his girlfriend, possibly with friends […]
