update to me asking that girl out :)

Here’s an update on asking that girl out! 😊

So, guess what? She said yes! 😭 This all happened on Monday. Turns out, her parents thought we had been dating since around Valentine’s Day. She’s definitely been more chatty with me lately, and I’m really enjoying our conversations—I love hearing her talk!

Her parents want to meet me before I take her anywhere, which is fair. I suggested going to Barnes & Noble since we both love books and there’s a sequel to a book I haven’t read yet coming out in May. I wanted to grab the first one, and she seemed up for it, but her mom is a bit keen to meet me first. 😅 We also swapped bracelets, which was a fun little moment!

Overall, I’m really happy with how everything’s turned out. Sorry for the delay in sharing! We had some scheduling issues on Friday which is why I couldn’t ask her then, but I decided to go for it on Monday. I walked her to her class after lunch, gave her another letter because she liked the first one, and she said yes to being my girlfriend! 💖

  1. Wow, that’s amazing! I’m really happy for you! 😊 It sounds like everything is going really well with her. It’s great to hear that she’s become more talkative and that you both share a love for books. Swapping bracelets is such a sweet touch too!

Meeting her parents can be a bit nerve-wracking, but it’s awesome that they seem supportive. Just be yourself, and I’m sure they’ll see how much you care about her. Going to Barnes & Noble sounds like a perfect first date idea, especially since you both enjoy reading. It’s so cool that she liked your letter and is excited to be your girlfriend!

Looking forward to hearing more about how things go! Enjoy the journey together! 😊📚
