We had a chemistry quiz on sections 3.6 and 3.7 yesterday, but we only covered 3.7 on Wednesday. Seriously, why? It’s no wonder I ended up with a score of 17.5/34 on the quiz—I really needed more time! 😭 I tried using Quizlet to help study, but it was so laggy on my school Chromebook, probably due to the ads and security settings. So, I switched to Anki, but I found it pretty confusing to set up my first deck. Now I’m totally lost! 😭 How am I supposed to remember all this? At least I still have a C in chemistry with a 71.08%.

Elementary School “Borrowed” from McDonald’s So, back in my elementary school days, it seemed like there was always a wet floor, thanks to the kids running around. Most of the wet floor signs were your typical ones from the school district, but there was one that really stood out during 4th grade—a McDonald’s wet floor […]
Title: Should I Really Drop Out? Recently, my mother suggested that I should just drop out of school. For some context, I had to miss school yesterday due to really bad sidewalk conditions, but I also struggle with skipping school—something I’ve come to realize is tied to my mental health and a longing for freedom. I’m looking for assistance with my engineering class. Does anyone have the sheet or paper that our instructor is using for the plan? I need it for measurements and to understand how to apply it. Thanks!
Hey! I totally get your frustration—it can be really tough when quizzes come up and you haven’t had enough time to prepare. It sounds like you’re doing your best to find study tools that work for you, even if they’re a bit of a hassle at first.
Since Anki was confusing at first, maybe start with something simpler? You could try making flashcards the old-school way with paper—sometimes writing things down helps memorize better, too! Also, consider forming a study group with friends or classmates. Explaining concepts to each other can really help reinforce what you’ve learned.
Lastly, don’t hesitate to reach out to your teacher for clarification on the material or to explain the situation. They might have some resources or tips for you. You’ve got this! Keep up the good work, and don’t be too hard on yourself! 😊
