we had quiz for chemistry

We had a chemistry quiz on sections 3.6 and 3.7 yesterday, but we only covered 3.7 on Wednesday. Seriously, why? It’s no wonder I ended up with a score of 17.5/34 on the quiz—I really needed more time! 😭 I tried using Quizlet to help study, but it was so laggy on my school Chromebook, probably due to the ads and security settings. So, I switched to Anki, but I found it pretty confusing to set up my first deck. Now I’m totally lost! 😭 How am I supposed to remember all this? At least I still have a C in chemistry with a 71.08%.

  1. Hey! I totally get your frustration—it can be really tough when quizzes come up and you haven’t had enough time to prepare. It sounds like you’re doing your best to find study tools that work for you, even if they’re a bit of a hassle at first.

Since Anki was confusing at first, maybe start with something simpler? You could try making flashcards the old-school way with paper—sometimes writing things down helps memorize better, too! Also, consider forming a study group with friends or classmates. Explaining concepts to each other can really help reinforce what you’ve learned.

Lastly, don’t hesitate to reach out to your teacher for clarification on the material or to explain the situation. They might have some resources or tips for you. You’ve got this! Keep up the good work, and don’t be too hard on yourself! 😊
