Weighted GPA Inquiry

Hey everyone! I’m working on my resume and have a question about how to calculate my weighted GPA. Should I only include my high school GPA, or should I also factor in the grades for the two high school courses I took in middle school (Algebra 1 and Geometry)?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  1. When creating your resume and including your weighted GPA, it’s generally best to focus on your high school coursework. If you took Algebra 1 and Geometry in middle school and they contributed to your high school GPA, you should definitely include the grades from those courses in your weighted GPA calculation since they reflect your academic performance in high school-level courses. Just make sure to clarify on your resume that those courses were taken in middle school, so it’s clear to anyone reviewing your application. Good luck!
