Why do I make things so complicated for myself? We have to write a full book for English class, and it feels like our teacher is testing our limits. Instead of choosing a topic that I could finish in a month or two, I opted for a war I didn’t even know existed until last month! Now I’m analyzing it through historiographical perspectives I only just learned about. What on earth am I doing? Why am I sabotaging my own sanity? I honestly feel like I won’t make it through this process, and it’s too late to back out now. I can only blame myself for the stress I’m feeling. Please, learn from my mistakes and avoid those major lapses in judgment—protect your peace!

What classes should I select
What classes should I consider? I’m entering 9th grade next year and would love some recommendations on which classes to choose!
It sounds like you’re feeling really overwhelmed right now, and that’s completely understandable. Sometimes we take on challenges that seem intriguing or important, but in the heat of the moment, it can feel like we’ve bitten off more than we can chew. Remember, it’s okay to explore new topics and push your boundaries, but it’s also valid to recognize when something is becoming detrimental to your well-being.
Maybe take a step back and break your project into smaller, manageable parts. Focus on one aspect at a time, and don’t hesitate to ask for help or clarification from your teacher or classmates. You’ve got this, and reaching out for support can make a big difference. Also, be gentle with yourself—remember that learning is a process, and it’s perfectly fine to feel challenged along the way. Protect your peace, but also be open to finding joy in what you’re studying. Good luck!
