At my school, I often hear classmates making negative comments about teachers who are just trying to teach. One teacher in particular gets a lot of criticism, but I think she’s perfectly fine. Students complain about her enforcing the phone policy and even about her speaking in class. However, I’ve never personally had any issues with her—even though one of the critics is in the same class with me. If they were expressing concerns about the workload, I would understand, but it seems their complaints go beyond that. I’m curious about what really drives their negativity.
It’s frustrating to see teachers getting negative comments when they’re just trying to do their job. Often, students don’t fully see the challenges and responsibilities teachers face.
