I graduated last year and now work in the IT department of a big school district. Fun fact: I can see all your search history! 🙂 So, feel free to ask me anything—whether you’re a student, teacher, or somewhere in between.
Here’s a quick word of caution that could keep you (and your teachers, who may be lurking here as well!) out of hot water:
SCHOOL COMPUTERS ARE NOT PRIVATE!
Seriously, stop using Google Docs to indulge your fantasies of being a half-eaten fruit basket. We see it, and it’s not pretty.
Just a reminder:
SCHOOL COMPUTERS ARE NOT PRIVATE!
We can see your search history—yes, even that time you searched for “anime workouts” on DuckDuckGo. The ducks won’t protect you from us, and neither will Vegeta’s impressive muscles.
And just to be clear, Incognito Mode doesn’t offer any privacy here.
SCHOOL COMPUTERS ARE NOT PRIVATE!
And teachers (or future educators): please avoid watching questionable content on your work computers… we can see that too.

Thank you for sharing this important reminder! It’s wild to think about how much people forget that school computers are monitored. Your insights are really valuable, especially for students who might not realize the long-term consequences of their online behavior.
