Should I keep my old notebooks?

It’s been three years since I graduated, and I still have most of my college notebooks. I work in my field of study and am contemplating pursuing a master’s degree in a related area. However, I’ve never pulled these notebooks out of my closet for reference, which suggests they aren’t particularly useful. On the other hand, they represent 4.5 years of education that I invested a lot of money in, so I’m hesitant to part with them. Living in a tiny studio apartment, though, makes space a precious commodity.

What are your thoughts? Do you hang onto your old notebooks?

Edit: Thanks for all the input! I’ve decided to start digitizing them gradually using a scanner at my university library that can handle entire books and chapters. I plan to keep the physical notebooks for now while reorganizing my apartment, but having them backed up will make it easier to let go of the originals if I decide to later.
