Why do I make things so complicated for myself? We have to write a full book for English class, and it feels like our teacher is testing our limits. Instead of choosing a topic that I could finish in a month or two, I opted for a war I didn’t even know existed until last month! Now I’m analyzing it through historiographical perspectives I only just learned about. What on earth am I doing? Why am I sabotaging my own sanity? I honestly feel like I won’t make it through this process, and it’s too late to back out now. I can only blame myself for the stress I’m feeling. Please, learn from my mistakes and avoid those major lapses in judgment—protect your peace!

I’m completely obsessed with this dress, but it’s ridiculously priced! With prom just two months away, I’ve found the perfect dress that ticks all my boxes: a stunning open back, gorgeous embellishments, a lovely color, a leg slit, and a fantastic neckline. The only thing I would prefer is that it be strapless. If anyone […]
I hate my skin
Title: Struggling with My Skin I’m being a bit dramatic with the title because, honestly, I do appreciate my skin and would much prefer to have it than not (I’d be in big trouble without it!). What I’m really frustrated about is my face’s inability to stick to one thing. Lately, I’ve been battling some […]
It sounds like you’re feeling really overwhelmed right now, and that’s completely understandable. Sometimes we take on challenges that seem intriguing or important, but in the heat of the moment, it can feel like we’ve bitten off more than we can chew. Remember, it’s okay to explore new topics and push your boundaries, but it’s also valid to recognize when something is becoming detrimental to your well-being.
Maybe take a step back and break your project into smaller, manageable parts. Focus on one aspect at a time, and don’t hesitate to ask for help or clarification from your teacher or classmates. You’ve got this, and reaching out for support can make a big difference. Also, be gentle with yourself—remember that learning is a process, and it’s perfectly fine to feel challenged along the way. Protect your peace, but also be open to finding joy in what you’re studying. Good luck!
